Spanish SeasonsThere are four
Spanish seasons just like in English: primavera, verano, autono,
invierno. They are fairly easy to use in daily conversation, but just
in case you want an example, here is a simple dialogue so you can see
how native Spanish speakers would use them: ¿Qué
hiciste en el verano?
| | A: ¿Qué
hiciste en el verano? | |
What did you do this summer?
B: Fui a China. | | I went
to China. | |
A: ¿De veras? ¿Para qué?
Really, what for? | |
B: Fui a enseñar inglés.
I taught English. |
|
Now
for the translation so you can see the literal thought process.
| Qué | hiciste | en | el | verano | | What | you
did | in | the | summer |
| De | veras | Para | qué | | Of | real | For | what |
| Fui | a | enseñar | inglés | | I
went | to | to teach | English |
