Spanish Grammar Rules

Spanish grammar was written in 1492 by Antonio de Nebrija of Andalusia. In fact it was the first romance language to have a written grammar.

To learn Spanish and how the language works can be confusing for most native English speakers. In Spanish you have to modify the nouns and adjectives to match in number and gender. At the same time, each verb has about 50 different conjugated forms that also match in number with the subject of the sentence.
