Spanish Flu

The Spanish flu means you're sick. Yup. So if you're learning Spanish you probably want to know how to talk about it incase you need to. If not great, I'm glad you're feeling well. Here is a common Spanish conversation.

Do you have a cold?

Spanish flu
A: ¿Tienes un gripe?
Do you have a cold?
B: Talvez, me parce que sí.
Maybe, it seems like it.
A: Ya te fuiste al médico.
Did you go to the doctors?
B: Ya está mejorando.
It's getting better already.

Here you'll find the literal translation helpful. This is how you can see the mindset of a native:

Tienes un gripe
Have a cold

Talvez me parece que
Maybe to me it seems that yes

Ya fuiste al médico
Already went to the doctor

Ya está mejorando
Already is bettering
